24/7 Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration in Minnetonka

When fire strikes a Minnetonka home

A fire is one of the hardest things a family or business can go through. If you’re reading this in the aftermath, please know the next steps are not yours to carry alone — Ungerman is here to take them off your plate. We’re an IICRC-certified fire and smoke restoration team, local and serving Minnetonka since 1977, and we answer the phone live, 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Securing the property quickly is the first thing we do, because acting fast limits the loss.

What fire recovery involves in Minnetonka

A fire’s damage doesn’t stop when the flames are out. Smoke and soot keep working for hours afterward — etching glass and metal, staining finishes, and settling into a stubborn odor. And the water used to put the fire out brings its own water damage risk, soaking into walls, flooring, and framing.

Minnetonka’s housing shapes how we approach each home. Most homes here date to the later 20th century, with only a small share predating 1940, so we often protect original finishes and work carefully around dated wiring; in newer homes we tailor the plan accordingly. Either way, we handle the fire, smoke, and water together — so you’re never juggling separate crews.
