What fire recovery involves in Edina

The damage doesn’t stop when the fire is out. Smoke and soot keep working long after the flames are gone — etching surfaces and leaving an odor that settles deep into materials. The water used to put the fire out brings its own water damage risk that has to be dried out before mold takes hold. Edina homes span many eras, from the 1920s–40s Tudors and Colonials of the Country Club District to mid-century houses in Indian Hills, and older homes need careful handling of original finishes and dated wiring. We address it all together, so you’re not left juggling separate crews during an already difficult time.

How we help, start to finish

• Emergency board-up and stabilization to secure the structure and keep your property safe.
• Soot and smoke cleaning done promptly, before residue sets in and causes permanent damage.
• Odor and air treatment that neutralizes smoke smell at the source rather than masking it.
• Contents pack-out with careful cataloging and secure, off-site storage of your belongings.
• Structural drying to remove the water left behind by fire suppression.
• Repairs and reconstruction that bring your home back to its pre-loss condition.

A dedicated project manager walks you through what to do right now, documents everything for your insurance claim, and coordinates the entire recovery so you don’t have to manage it alone. Call 612-825-2800 anytime — we answer live, and we’ll take this one step at a time with you.
