This older home situated right in the Twin Cities is a perfect mix of what’s old and new with plenty of wood and urban-modern elements that add a warm contemporary style.

While we were able to save the existing hardwood floors and refinish them to a natural stain color really brightens the space up. Restoring the front porch where the fire happened, it is now the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy all the natural daylight coming in from the wraparound windows & tall vaulted ceilings. Also, focusing closely on this small kitchen was important to create as much storage and functional space for this family to utilize.
