Our Team at UNGERMAN provides a wealth of experience in construction, reconstruction and cleaning services resulting from damage caused by water, storms, wind, fire/smoke, mold, and vandalism. Our trained and professional crews are highly experienced to repair and remodel your damaged property.  We place a high value on providing our clients with top-notch customer service and our field staff is constantly updating their expertise in repairing, remodeling, and restoration techniques and technology.

Ted Brinkman, (CEO) Chief Executive Officer , Was the first employee of UNGERMAN in 1977. In 2004, Ted and Ron Ungerman Jr, purchased the company from Ron Ungerman Sr. Ted has over 38 years of experience in the industry and has gained a wealth of knowledge in property restoration and problem solving. He loves looking at new projects and coming to work everyday. Ted graduated from Minot State University. His hobbies include downhill skiing and boating.

Ron Ungerman Jr., Owner and President, began his career in 1991 after graduating from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Ron has over 24 years of service in the industry. He loves working with clients, many of whom have become good friends over the years. Ron freely admits, “My hobbies and interests are based on my family. Whatever my wife and two kids are doing – that is where I want to be!”

Lindsey Uselding, Owner and Vice President, strives to build a great team, empowering employees and assisting clients. Graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Business Degree, Lindsey began her career at Target as a store manager before joining UNGERMAN in 2013. Lindsey loves downhill skiing and enjoys time at their lake home with her husband, two daughters, friends and family.

 

Estimators

Kirsten Meehan, Owner and Estimator, began at UNGERMAN in 1998 painting and doing demolition work as a summer job. After graduating from University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2004, she became a full-time employee as a project manager. Kirsten loves helping homeowners make selections that they always wanted to change in their home, and now have the chance to do. Outside of work, Kirsten loves to golf, run, read and enjoy life with her husband and two kids.

 

Drew DuPre, Estimator, has ten years of experience in the industry as a salesman for an electrical contractor and landscaping foreman. Drew joined UNGERMAN in 2008. He has Business Degree from University of Wisconsin – Stout. Drew is an avid golfer, loves family, cooking, snowboarding and traveling.

 

 

Noah Wendorf, Estimator, has four years of service in sales and customer service in the industry. Noah loves the great work environment at UNGERMAN, since he was hired in 2014. He graduated from Bemidji State University in Business Administration. Noah enjoys spending time with family and friends, and loves to fish and hunt.

 

 


Paul Stommes, Estimator, has four years of roofing industry experience and is a HAAG certified roofing inspector C/R, he has eight years of insurance experience as both a commercial underwriter and independent insurance adjuster. Paul joined UNGERMAN in 2016. He has a financial economics degree from Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter MN. Paul enjoys ice fishing, golfing, spending as much time with his wife Katie and helping on his family’s farm in Richmond MN.

 

 

Ron Wolf, Sr. Sales/Estimator, has 22 years experience in sales and estimating within the restoration industry. In addition, he served eight years as an insurance adjuster and prior to that four and one half years as a teacher.  Ron joined Ungerman in 2017.  Ron holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin Stout in Industrial Education and also is EPA Lead Certified and Level 2 Xactimate trained.  Ron enjoys the satisfaction of helping people through difficult times when having experienced property damage insurance claim.  In his free time, he enjoys fishing, golfing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends.

 Project Managers

Collin Camp, Project Manager, worked as a carpenter for UNGERMAN before becoming a project manager in 2015. Helping homeowners after a loss to rebuild their home, is important to Collin. Attending Hennepin Technical College gave Collin his start in carpentry. Collin loves spending time with family. His hobbies include fishing softball and hanging out with his wife and friends.

 

 

Drew Petersen, Project Manager/Production Manager, began working for UNGERMAN in 2006. He was a carpenter for 10 of his 13 years in the industry. Drew is presently a project manager and enjoys solving different challenges each day brings. Drew attended both St. John’s University and the University of Minnesota. In addition to enjoying sports activities with his family, he also loves home renovations and playing Fantasy Football.

 

 

Austin Koskela, Project Manager, has an extensive background in the millwork, restoration, mitigation and sign construction industries. He began working at UNGERMAN in 2008, and loves the variety each day brings. Austin has a Business Degree from the University of Minnesota – Duluth. His interests include motorsports, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.

Restoration, Mitigation, Cleaning

Chris Anonen, Restoration/Sales Manager, joined the UNGERMAN Team in 2015. He has 15 years of experience in the industry including: National Account Manager for Electronic Restoration Services, Director of Commercial Large Loss/Managing plus Director and Disaster Restoration/Construction Project Manager for ServiceMaster Restoration Services. Chris holds certifications in WRT, ASC, APS APS II, Commercial Large Loss, and LEAD. He attended North Hennepin Community College and enjoys spending time in the outdoors, particularly at his lake place in Aitkin, MN with family and friends.

 

Ryan Hartman, Project Manager, worked in retail management with Target for 11 years, which included leading remodels in St. Cloud, MN, and running stores as a store team leader in multiple locations. He graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a degree in Business. Ryan is married and has two daughters. Ryan loves spending time with his family, fishing and snowboarding.

 

 

Bryon Ollila, Restoration Estimator, has dedicated himself to customer satisfaction for 22 years. He holds certifications in WRT, FSRT, AMRT and OCT. He studied to be a Bio Med Technician. Bryon joined the Ungerman Team in 2007. He loves hunting fishing and snowmobiling

 

 

 

  • Mike Porter, Restoration Technician, has 17 years of service in the industry. Mike joined UNGERMAN in 2007, and attended Hennepin Technical College. He has certifications in fire, water and mold remediation. Motorcycles are one of Mike’s favorite interests.
  • Kevin Carr, Technician, has had a variety of job experiences including security, janitorial, moving company and construction. Kevin has been married for over 20 years and has five children and four grandchildren. Cooking on the grill for his family, sports, and biking are a few of Kevin’s interests, however, his special passion is to spend time fixing up his car.
  • David Xiong, Lead Technician, worked in the electrical and warehouse fields and industrial construction before joining UNGERMAN in 2013. David comes from a big family with 12 siblings, and he is newly married. His hobbies include fishing and hunting.
  • Morgan Kemper, Technician, is an alumni of Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in Geology.  She has been working in the restoration industry since 2015 and joined the Ungerman team in spring 2016.  Morgan enjoys spending time with friends.
  • Andrew Narveson, Technician
  • Greg Doble, Technician, Greg started working at Ungerman during summers while attending the University of St. Thomas.  He joined the Ungerman team full time in 2016, making him a third generation to work at Ungerman.  In his free time, Greg enjoys taking road trips and attending Timberwolves and Twins games with his friends.

Carpenters

  • Mike Sullivan, Carpenter, joined UNGERMAN in 1988. He brings a wealth of experience to each new job. Mike loves spending time with his wife and two kids, and enjoys fixing his Wisconsin cabin, where he eventually plans to retire.
  • Glen Thomas, Carpenter, has worked for UNGERMAN since 1990. Glen is a master craftsman, and very detail oriented. When he is not working Glen enjoys hunting and spending time on his hobby farm.
  • Dean Rolstad, Carpenter, has been a loyal UNGERMAN team member sine 1987. He is always willing to do what is needed on any job. Dean enjoys hiking, watching softball and baseball games. He is also a huge Badger basketball fan!
  • Bill Parker, Carpenter, joined UNGERMAN in 2006. He has always been very “handy” and now has made a career out of it! He has three children and a granddaughter. If Bill is not at work he is either hunting, fishing, or working on a project of his own.
  • Tyler Stege, Carpenter, is a new addition to the UNGERMAN team. Tyler comes to us from Wood Design Inc. He loves hiking, fishing and camping with his siblings and two dogs! Tyler loves music and plays the guitar.
  • Travis North, Apprentice Carpenter

Painters

  • Mike Vendel, Painter, has been one of the UNGERMAN original employees beginning in 1978. Very few painters can match a stain on site anymore, but Mike does this for us. He is an experienced painter. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his two sons, and loves “spoiling” his grandson!
  • Terry White, Painter, joined UNGERMAN in 1985. Terry is very detail oriented, and takes pride in his work. When Terry is not at work he is very involved with his sons’ activities. He is also a referee for wrestling and lacrosse.

Office Staff

Hannah Thompson, Office Coordinator, joined the Ungerman team in 2016. In her past experience, she helped as an Admin and in the field for a volunteer construction organization.  Hannah enjoys her role supporting the team with helping people get their lives back together after experiencing property damage.  In her free time, Hannah enjoys horseback riding, spending time with friends and family as well as volunteering.

 

 

Diane Etter, Accounting Clerk, joined UNGERMAN in 2013. She has worked in the accounting field for over 24 years. Diane’s experience includes bookkeeping, accounts receivable/payable, accounting specialist, as well as tax preparation. Diane enjoys the variety of duties and challenges her job entails. She studied accounting at North Hennepin Community College. Diane loves sewing, reading, playing games, walking and spending time with her grandchildren.
